Clae Footwear Returns, Originator of the “Athleisure” Movement, Back for Summer 2007 After Short Absence
April 2007, Solana Beach, CA – Clae, the pioneer of the now mainstream footwear category dubbed “athleisure” will return to market after a brief absence. Three styles will debut with 15 select retail partners for Summer 2007 with a full launch Fall 2007. Clae co-founder and footwear veteran Sung Choi is once again at the helm of this lifestyle brand, as creative director. Choi has aligned himself with Derek Galkin, former VP of Sales and Marketing and co-founder of Medium Design Group as a consultant to oversee branding direction and sales, as well as Matthew Miller, a trademark and business law attorney who specializes in the fashion and athletic markets, who will serve as President.
